On Saturday April 29th, we are proud to host the 12th Annual Charity Street Hockey Tournament!
The money raised in this tournament will help fund Rose Charities initiatives in Cambodia, including providing free access to eye procedures and physical therapy to many people who have often spent years in need of treatment.
Operating since 1998, Rose Charities Eye Clinic provides free eye treatment for indigent Cambodians including procedures ranging from sight restoration surgery to optometric / refraction (glasses) services. The largest eye clinic in Cambodia, the clinic treats approximately 1500 patients per month. For many Cambodians, health care is largely unavailable. With more funding, Rose Eye Clinic could easily double the number of surgeries a year as there is a long waiting list of blind people who could have their sight restored with a simple, inexpensive surgery (e.g., a cataract operation costs approx. $25 to perform).

-There will be 8 teams. Players will be randomly assigned to the 8 teams to ensure that there is an equal distribution of males, females and talent across the teams. There will be two simultaneous games running, one in the hockey rink and one on the basketball courts adjacent to the rink.
-If you donate $60 per person, we can place two players on the same team, please e-mail (rachel NULL.greene null@null rosecharities NULL.us) after you have registered to arrange this.
– There will be 2 divisions with 4 teams each and there will be three 40 minute games round-robin style per team.
-A representative from Rose Charities will be there to collect the entry fee and hand out tax receipts for those who wish to pay on the day of the event (checks can be made out to the Rose Charities). Please feel free to donate more, disabled children living in poverty (and the organizers) will thank you!

-If you are a goalie, there are only 8 spots available, so please email if you’d like to play (Rachel.firstname.lastname@example.org (Rachel NULL.greene null@null rosecharities NULL.us))
*Please keep in mind that this is a co-ed charity tournament with differing levels of skill. The bottom line is that we will be playing to help people with disabilities who can’t afford to pay their medical bills, not creating new ones, so aggressive play will not be tolerated.

a) you want to play as a pair on the same team
b) are donating but not playing
c) plan on arriving late or leaving early
